Over the years I have taken many approaches to recording and originality is the top priority. It's amazing how newly recorded sounds can inspire creativity. When given enough time and the budget permits,
we will record new sounds and ambiences to create a unique signature quality for your film.
Great sound libraries are also a fantastic resource for a project when time is critical and budgets are smaller. We use only the best libraries.

Jay has been a drummer since the age of five known for his role in the Marin County based band OOH! He was a radio DJ at KSRH San Rafael High School.
Jay has always had a recording device of one kind or another close by.
A passionate musician and film sound editor, Jay has contributed to a variety of multi-media and cinematic projects over the last thirty years. Supporting productions not only with sound but also serving as gaffer and visual effects compositor in commercial and theatrical productions.
Since the early 90's Jay has played major roles in live concert productions as well as stage production for Silicon Valley tech companies like Hewlett Packard and NASA.

Marinho Nobre is a composer, recording artist, and music producer skilled in electronic, orchestral, world music, and other styles.
As a multi-instrumentalist with broad exposure to music, Marinho strives to bring emotion and flow to his albums, film scores, and production works.
A five-time winner in the Best Score category at the Park City Film Music Festival, Marinho is also a voting member of The Academy of Recording Arts a.k.a. Grammys ®.
Currently based in Los Angeles, Marinho continues exploring new sounds, taking on new projects, and expanding his ever-growing palette of cinematic and world music tracks.

Film in Las Cruces, New Mexico
Las Cruces is quickly becoming one of the most film friendly locations in the country. With vastly different scenic locations and historical towns like Mesilla and Doña Ana Village. Las Cruces is fully equipped for large productions. Sound Stages are available and our newest facility is being built in 2026.
Las Cruces is home to a brand new floating sound stage just south of town at the DACC Film St location. Fully equipped. A second sound stage facility being constructed now just next door.
